REACHING OUT TO NEIGHBORS WITH COMPASSION
Facilitating ACCESS TO HUMAN AND SOCIAL SERVICES such as food, medical care, education and immigration challenges
The International Friendship Center is a 501c (3) organization facilitating services that bridge the gap between struggle and security for people in hardship. In partnership with our communities, we help provide opportunities for adults and children to obtain basic human and social needs as well as assistance with challenges facing immigrants. We serve individuals and families who live or work in the Highlands, Franklin and Cashiers, NC area.
Food Pantry open house
Join us for an Open House at the Highlands Food Pantry on Thursday, September 11, from 5:30–7:30 pm. The International Friendship Center invites the community to step inside and see how our client-choice pantry is helping neighbors facing food insecurity in Macon and Jackson Counties. Guests will enjoy guided tours, refreshments, and the premiere of our new video highlighting IFC’s mission and impact. Hunger continues to rise in our region, and this event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of the solution.
