Supporting neighbors in Highlands, Franklin, and Cashiers with food, advocacy, and opportunity.

A New Fund to Nourish, Sustain, and Thrive

One Table, One Community is the IFC’s inaugural Annual Fund campaign, created to sustain and expand our year-round work serving individuals and families across Highlands, Franklin, and Cashiers, North Carolina.

When neighbors face hardship, IFC helps bridge the gap between instability and security. Through the Food Pantry, translation and interpretation, advocacy and family support, community and social services, and immigration support, we ensure that no one in our community faces challenges alone.

Your support helps make this work possible—today and for the future.

Our Goal: $125,000*

One Table, One Community isn’t just about meeting operating needs. It’s about creating stability, flexibility, and long-term strength so that IFC can continue to respond to the evolving needs of our neighbors.

Responding to a Need

Why Your Support Matters

Across Western North Carolina, families are feeling the impact of rising costs, gaps in access to healthcare and education, language barriers, and uncertainty around government programs. Your gift to the One Table, One Community Annual Fund ensures that IFC can continue showing up for our neighbors—providing food, guidance, advocacy, and support when it’s needed most.

Nourish Today. Fuel Tomorrow.

Meet Today’s Needs. Build Tomorrow’s Resilience.

Your gifts to the Annual Fund will go to sustain our two primary programs:

The Highlands Food Pantry

Food insecurity affects every part of life—from health and education to employment and stability. Your support keeps the Highlands Food Pantry stocked with nutritious food, fresh produce, and essential household items for families who rely on it.

Direct Community Support

These services and programs help neighbors navigate complex systems and paperwork, access medical and dental care, overcome language barriers, connect with immigration support services, and develop the skills needed for a more secure future.
